Local 1778 News:
- The members of local 1778 glaziers voted to freeze the wage package for the last year of the Collective Bargaining Agreement due to the state of the economy.
Volunteers are needed for hack-outs on the 27th of February. The Houston Area Glass Association and local 1778 and its contractors will be donating glass and labor to the community in a goodwill effort to better living conditions. To volunteer, please call the council office.
Health Insurance Update:
If you are about to lose your health insurance, the government will supplement a portion of your cost for COBRA. Call the council office for information.
Local 130 News:
There will be a shutdown at the Nuke plant. Painters interested in the shutdown work should contact David Wenninger.
